About me
Hi! I'm Sara Pastrana, a singer, musician, and teacher who’s been passionate about music for as long as I can remember. I graduated from Southern Utah University with a BA in Music, specializing in Voice, and I’ve been lucky to perform with amazing choirs and programs over the years. Some highlights include being the Mezzo-Soprano soloist for Handel’s Messiah, singing 1st Soprano in the MCO choir for four years, and performing Here is Hope at the Gilbert Stake Easter Program.
Teaching has been a big part of my life since I was 16, and I love helping my students grow in their musical journeys. Watching them gain confidence and find their own voice is one of my favorite things.
When I’m not singing or teaching, you’ll probably find me at the gym, doing yoga, or cooking up something tasty in the kitchen. I love spending time with my family, friends, and my sweet dog, Dune—he’s the best! I’ve been living in Arizona for six years now with my amazing husband, and it’s been a great place to call home.
Thanks for stopping by! I’m excited to share the joy of music with you.
